So what are you waiting for? Listed below are some valuable teeth whitening advice, which are very easy to follow.

Your teeth are a vital part of your body and as such require proper care and maintenance. Failure to maintain your teeth can lead to a number of complications like bad breadth, cavity, teeth ache, and other complications. Teeth ache is a terrible thing to experience and can rob your comfort and daily lifestyle. Spending some time for getting the right type of teeth whitening advice will really help you a lot.

A number of teeth whitening advices are available today. You can opt for home remedies, dental products, or you can also choose cosmetic dentistry solutions to make teeth whiter. But, at first what you need to do is to take proper care of your teeth. While going through the whitening process, take care to keep your teeth in good shape. Everyday we consume plenty of drinks like coffee, wine, sodas, which stain the teeth. Try to wash your teeth every time you consume these things. Limit smoking as it puts stubborn stains on your teeth. These are the basic teeth whitening advices that you need to follow.

The teeth whitening products help remove all the stains from your enamel and thereby gifting you that perfect smile. You can opt for herbal or cosmetic dentistry solutions to get that sure smile. Cosmetic dentistry offers some of the latest techniques and teeth whitening advices. Some of the commonly used products among the cosmetic dentistry solutions are toothpastes, mouth gels, artificial gums, etc. They mostly come without any side effects and most of them can be easily purchased over the counter.

Another important thing that you should keep in mind while using cosmetic dentistry solutions is that you get to use only high quality products. These will ensure 100 percent results. As such, while buying any cosmetic products, make sure to buy the best quality that is available in the market. It may take a few more bucks but will guarantee you good results.

Some of the latest methods that cosmetic dentistry solutions offer are the bleaching method and the laser method. There are bleaching teeth gums available which help remove all the stains from the teeth and add that shine to them. The most sophisticated and painless method is the laser method. This can be performed by expert professionals. Unlike the bleaching method, the gel is first applied on the enamel and a laser coating is given on them to make the teeth white. The laser method yields long lasting results and mostly free of side effects.

dentist in a week!! pls help with whitening?
ok, ive got the dentist a week today for a check up cos ive not been in so long and heres my teething problems!!

    1. I would like my teeth whitened, what is the best way? laser? whitening kit? caps?

    2. I would like the fillings that are gray and visable when i smile, to be white and the same colour as my (to be) whitened teeth. I have never had a white filling before, so i just need advice! if they are no good is there an alternative?

    3. I have a crown, and when i get my teeth whitened, this will be a different colour wont it? so will i need it replaced?

    4. I have an appointment next week with NHS dentist, who also do private. which is better? NHS or private, and what is the difference?

    5. I am aware that this may cost some money for the treatment i want, however I do not want ripped off so any advise would be really appreciated.

    Thank you so much!!

Perhaps a dental professional, your dentist for example, could answer these questions?

only the dentist can tell you want you need to know, he wont do any treatment until you know all the facts (and prices)

If you are wanting to go NHS they won’t do the cosmetic things you want doing, you’ll only get the necessaries done. To go private is mega costly but if you were wanting some or all of the above done ask your dentist for a block price for all the work rather than doing bits here and there. But if you are going private get different quotes cos the price varies tremendously.

Ok, I’ll do my best to answer you, but it is difficult to know exactly what you need as I haven’t seen your teeth, but here goes.
    1. The least invasive way of whitening teeth is to have them whitened. This involves a gel being put onto your teeth, which will change the colour of the dentine inside, making them whiter. You can have fast (in surgery) whitening or home whitening, or a combination of both. Generally the home whitening will take longer but cost less. The costs will depend on your dentist, but however it is done the end result will be the same.
    2. White fillings are not available on back teeth on the NHS, and are more costly than metal ones usually. Also they do not necessarily last as long, although as ever this is variable as it depends on the dentist and their technique, as well as the patient and their cleaning and sugar intake. If I were you I would only have white fillings put in as replacements to fillings which NEED to be done, so eventually your teeth will be less metallic, without you having to have a lot of unnecessary work done and spending lots of money. But that’s my view, and there are plenty who will disagree with me……
    3. An old crown will not whiten, so If the crown matches your teeth now, you would need a new one after.
    4. The dentist is the same whether NHS or private, but the time and materials available to them are better privately.

    Good luck.

home bleaching (private) starting at £250.00

white fillings (private) starting at £60.00 depending on what tooth

yes white crown (private) starting at £300.00

register as a nhs patient but if you want white fillings, crowns you need to have private treatment as the nhs only does white on the front 6 teeth top and bottom
it also depends entirely where abouts in the country you live ie london will be more expensive than glasgow
