Braces in China (with Neville)
Warning: This video is dedicated to my mother. So she could see how my braces were put on in China as opposed to the ultra-sterile and ultra-expensive way they’re put on in the States. Another warning, this video contains extreme close-up shots of the inside of my mouth. I’m sorry, but it’s not a pretty side. So take a seat in the Chinese dentist’s chair…here we go. if you actually …
if you actually look at how he works he’s very neat about it. almost everything you’d expect in any practice in any other country is there. lip retractors, composite bonding for the brackets, wire ligatures. sure, bare hands but he’s not working in blood… and trust me, as a dentist we wear gloves more to protect ourselves from whatever’s in the mouth than from passing things on. see a couple of the ‘horror videos’ on YouTube and you start to get the idea

this video is amazing. im looking to get braces myself. I have about eight cavities that i have to get filled first. which is costing me 3900. the deep cleaning was in that price as well. I wish i had the money to get everything done at one time. I wish i could go to china just for that.

Yeah it would’ve been simpler. But this costs $300. I’m pretty sure Invisalign would’ve cost thousands. So that’s why I went this route. Dental work in America is getting so outrageously expensive so I was forced to go out-of-country for services.

three and a half hours is excessive for that… otherwise it looked just like my orthodontist, with the exception of my orthodontist uses gloves. Also you’re a white guy why did you get braces in china?

hygeine doesnt require gloves, coz even the gloves could have something on them… but still it is a lot better
