I’ve had my braces for 3 years, and I don’t find they hurt very badly. Yeah, for the first week or so, you may have canker sours, but its not that bad, nothing to worry about. Also, your teeth may feel a bit tight, but thats i find nothing. and if it gets to bad, take some Tylenol or something. When you get them adjusted every month, they also hurt for a few days, but its nothing to worry over. I was 10 when I got my braces, and my sister will be getting them soon as well. Good luck!

They dont hurt. I … They dont hurt. I was nervous as when I was getting them installed. After that, the feeling of having something over my teeth was a bit annoying. The pain comes hour after the installation, but its not a lot.
