What happens if you have braces and your family moves to another state or something?

Does the orthodontist there take off your old braces and give you new ones and then he does your mouth his way or will he still follow your old orthodontist’s plan?

NO.. he will NOT remove the braces..

Take your Dental Records with you, and they’ll pick up from there. Your treatment is written down, and they’ll follow through with the ‘protocol’ that your original doctor started.

It’s no biggie…. people move everyday, and the new Doctor picks up right where your last one ended!

He would probably follow your old orthodontist’s plan. I think you should ask your old one for your records.

No they will not remove your existing braces. You current orthodontist might be able to refer you to someone where you are moving. Make sure you get your records, or they can forward them to your new dentist.

    Good Luck
