Scientology: Dentists Defrauded 1/10
1/26/00 – These two dentists from the Chicago area were defrauded by WISE and demanded a refund from the Church of Scientology. Expecting trouble in their attempt to get their money back from Scientology, they called the LMT. I flew to Chicago to do a video interview with them.

I suspect that Scientology will basically be dead in 1 or 2 generations. As long as video sites like this are available to document their shady actions then there will always be a negative stigma attached to their religious cult. Currently, Scientology is losing the PR war with its critics.

the problem is if the government trys to remove the tax free status COS has a very high profile legal team to fight it. and they would most likely win. they offer refunds on the course ur taking at the time u wanted out. but u have to sign a peace of paper that says u have no other claim against them, so u cant get ALL ur money back. the arguement being u must have been happy with the previous courses if u didnt quit then so why should we refund u for something u were happy with.

How about this – do they deserve to be a tax free organization? They don’t ask for donations, they demand money for their courses. If you don’t pay, you can’t play. And if you pay and don’t get results, shouldn’t it fair that you get a portion of your money back? Good luck, Scientology doesns’t give refunds, not even partial refunds.

Typical cult response – seen it used by other scam artists and cults of every kind. First, there is no such statistic except pulled out of one’s buttocks. Second, “satisfaction rate” does not excuse a fraud, and in fact is MORE incriminating because is shows the scam is more successful.
