I agree that …
I agree that regular shampoos made from chemicals should never be used on dog’s delicate skin. They are much too harsh as they contain solvents.

When used as …
When used as instructed (diluted with a wet toothbrush), Tooth Soap for Pets will clean pet’s teeth and gums. Regarding pH, according to the National Research Council (U.S.), Ad Hoc Committee on Dog & Cat Nutrition, “the pH of dog saliva varies between 7.34 and 7.80″ (Altman and Dittmer, 1968; Lamas & Scheinin, 1971). The pH of Tooth Soap for Pets alone is approx 7.7 and with the dilution of regular tap water it brings it down some. All is rinsed off in minutes leaving teeth and gums clean.

Loana from New York, “in regard to treating a dog’s itchy skin with vinegar you DO NOT EVER want to use human shampoo on a dog, it is far to harsh and will mess up their skins PH. use an all natural sensitive skin hypo allergenic shampoo, for puppies (even on adult dogs) and they should not be bathed more than once a month because their skin is too thin and sensitive completely unlike a persons. i am a certified Groomer with a cat and dog of my own.”
